Wheeler High’s Spirit Day was the concluding day of this year’s basketball homecoming week. Wearing the bold colors of navy and yellow signifies the student’s love for the school. Spirit day is topped off with a pep rally where students and teachers have fun dancing and cheering for our sports teams. People show their spirit by wearing anything from socks, shirts, hoodies, and hats with the wonderful Wildcat logo or the school’s name. Many students enjoy representing the Wheeler sports teams and clubs by wearing their groups swag. For example, lots of seniors wore old wheeler basketball jerseys to show their support for the team. Many letterman decided to wear their letterman jackets to show their accomplishments for earning their letter and badges.
