Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray

Oribe is an industry leading luxury hair care brand that has been around for the last decade. With award winning products and consistent high quality results, there’s no wonder why Oribe haircare is trusted behind the scenes for editorial session styling and backstage during New York Fashion Week.

After many years of working with both professional and consumer haircare lines, I believe what sets Oribe apart is their high performance and innovative formulations, all with a luxurious feel in the hair. It is obvious that these products were created with stylists in mind, and have been tested extensively to reach perfection.

Oribe’s Dry Texturizing Spray has won seven awards since 2013, and for good reason.

This styling product has multiple benefits. Not only does it protect your hair from daily wear and tear with plant extracts that contain antioxidants, but it also works to absorb excess oil, and add texture to the hair (hence the name) for voluminous styles with added hold.

In the salon, this is one of my favorite “go-to” stylers. Its compatibility with heat styling makes the finished result much more voluminous than if I were to do without it.

Through my training I’ve learned that when I’m styling clients for special events, if I lightly coat each section of hair that I’m about to curl with the Dry Texturizing Spray, it will stiffen soft hair just enough to hold the curl while it’s cooling. Then they last so much longer! Give it a try.

The Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray is designed to add a little grit to your hair, without physically drying it out. My educator Vu, at the salon likes to call it “backcombing in a bottle.” This product allows hair to move freely, and the more you separate it, the bigger it’ll get. It can give you that sexy bed head look, or that windswept beachy look. It’s totally up to you. If you’re looking for a product that will make your hair feel softer and look sleeker than it does naturally, I wouldn’t recommend this for you. This spray is for those who want bigger, imperfectly perfect hair.
