hi, my name is gabriella cardozo. im 15 years old and i attend north broward preporatory school in coconut creek florida. my dad is the ceo of tambourine, and advertisement agnecy that primarily markets hotels around the world. the cool thing about his job is that it consists of creativity and business. from a young age he has thought me his photography and a bit of his film skills. i realized i love to take pictures and make films. i formally started studying film at school last year and loved it. i applied for a film scholarship and was given the privilege of recieving one. this is my first year of studing film and im loving it.

my work

even thought i just began studying film i have made a handful of films. some of course are better than others. i am always nervous and hesitant to show my work. most of the time i feel like its never good enough.

this film is from about one year ago. i shot it mostly on go-pro. it was a quick travel video from my family's vacation to montreal, canada is august of 2017.

this film is from 2018 during the school year. our assignment was to make a stop motion film. my idea was simple and i feel that i executed it very well. i shot it on a simple cam-recorder.

this film is from this summer of 2018. my family is from colombia and we have country house in a small town named sopo. every year we visit colombia and the country house. one of our favorite things my cousins and friends like to do is play hopscotch. when we got there we realized how old the hopscotch was and decided to repaint it. this was shot on a canon 80D.

my future

as of after school life i have a pretty good idea of what i wanna do. since a couple years ago i heard about NYU and ive been in love with the idea. of attending. i love new york for many reasons. the fast pace of the city inspires me to work harder. i cant tell you what i want to do after university but i can tell you i want to be in the creative field. i cant wait to see where film takes me in life.
