"Are you available to shoot a homecoming this week? "

ABSOLUTELY.

Sometimes " five more minutes" can last a lifetime.

Especially when you're waiting on your dad to come home.

I was lucky to ride the Welcome Wagon with the Moore Family as they awaited the return of Major Nicholas Moore - CS TBONE of the 138th Fighter Squadron, TULSA VIPERS.

Practicing her "kiss face" for dad.

We weren't sure exactly when they were coming, the unit had been stuck in country for a few days.

"Out of our way, our Daddy's here to stay!"

read the sign Molly {wife & mom} admitted to waiting on last minute to make but it was *perfectly* huge and so appropriate as the bold sentiment matched the excitement you could feel.

"Five minutes out"

the overhead speaker called.

WELCOME HOME

"No one's listening to Larry!" Molly laughed.

Nope, not at all. These babies needed their dads. Checks could wait, Larry.

What played out was essentially the most adorable game of red light - green light ever until each kid made it to their dad

The airmen receiving the flights in had asked the families to stay back for a moment.

The kids hadn't heard that.

What played out was essentially the most adorable game of red light - green light ever until each kid made it to their dad.

Finally home.

Sawyer wasn't letting go and I don't blame her one bit.

I had asked Molly what she wanted to remember most when she looked at the photos.

She answered,

"The anticipation, excitement, and love we share as a family"

I had asked Molly what she wanted to remember most when she looked at the photos. Her answer was this:

"The anticipation, excitement, and love we share as a family"

I think we nailed it.

This is why I love my work.

With great Love, Sara
