Nearly 600 women convened on Duke's campus for Women's Weekend, a biennial conference for alumnae, faculty members, administrative leaders and current students to share life experiences, impart wisdom and grow their connections.
Kate Bowler PhD'10, associate professor of the history of Christianity in North America at Duke Divinity School, delivered the keynote address on “Life After Perfect,” drawing on her experiences after she was unexpectedly diagnosed with Stage IV cancer at age 35.

Weekend attendees were given the opportunity to get an interactive look at the road to the ratification of the 19th Amendment.
This session included a panel discussion, a hands-on activity and a guided show-and-tell through a curated collection of ephemera that captures the spirit of the women who fought for women's right to vote.
