Nelson Mandela was an amazing leader. He was extremely devoted to unify Africa and end segregation.

Nelson Mandela was a leader of the anti-apartheid movement to try and end the difference between how the black and whites where being treated.

He was imprisoned in 1964 and sentenced there until death. We was not forgotten while he was in jail. In fact, he became an idol for black rights. While in prison, he was offered many releases if he stopped the protests, he declined every offer.
