The St .Brigid Bison know that "The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear!" The school hit the streets of Nakina, visiting local businesses, the municipal office and health centre singing Christmas songs and carols. They even gave command performances for passersby! While they were disappointed by a lack of figgy pudding, the Bison had a wonderful time spreading "tidings of comfort and joy" throughout their community.
The St. Brigid Bison celebrated an Advent mass at Paroisse de St. Brigid Parish Catholic Church. Father Praveen Kumar officiated, assisted by St. Brigid's own Makenna as altar server, students read scripture and prayers and Mrs Gardiner led the students, community members and newly-minted trustee Mrs Marino in joyful songs.
