Although we have been stuck in our houses for quite some time, regardless of the weather, snow days still hold their childhood charm, and allow for a bit of excitement in all of our lives. Yet, it is important to make sure that you are getting the full snow day experience, regardless of the fact that they may be a bit different these days. The following essentials will guarantee for the most memorable day in the snow.

Candles are always a good way to create a relaxed environment, especially if they are scented. They can be found anywhere from Amazon, to Bath and BodyWorks.

Hot chocolate and fun mugs are hands down the best part of a snow day. It is important to include whipped cream, marshmallows and peppermint, to really enhance the experience.

It is more than important to make sure that snow days are full of relaxation, and with that comes comfort. Make sure to grab a fuzzy blanket and curl up while the snow falls down.

After playing in the snow wearing your snow boots, come back inside to the house to wear your fun socks and slippers. It is important to keep your feet warm on such a cold day. Slippers can be found at places such as Target or UGG.

For when you do decide to brace the cold weather and play in the snow, fun hats are a necessity. Beanies with a variety of designs, and patterns, help to keep your head warm, but can also be a fantastic fashion statement.

As snow days are often a much needed break from our high stress school year, you may find yourself looking for a non school related activity. Board games are just that. Whether it be Monopoly, or Candy Land, they are guaranteed to allow for a fun time.
