The simulator of driving a truck in difficult conditions is the only device in Poland created especially for educational purposes

The simulator works with servers that map real road conditions - not just a road in different geographical environments but also road events. You can program, for example, the pedestrian's intrusion into the road, various weather conditions or heavy traffic.

Wednesday 9th May

Visit to Urzad Marszalkowski, the leading body of RZPWE

We started Wednesday with a visit to the Marshal's Office

We were warmly received by Marshal Mr. S. Rakoczy and Director of the Department of Education and Labor Market, Mr. Zbigniew Kubalaniec.

Visit to Primary School #8 in Opole to see a lesson in coding and to talk to pupils preparing a school TV broadcasting under the direction of Mr. Hanna Bartnikowska.

Students work together to think about how to solve a task , before demonstrating their algorithm to the class

Thursday 10th May
Kindergarten Immmersion English German and Spanish

This Kindergarten is the only school in Opole with a multilingual project in English,German and Spanish. There are two teachers per class who teach the language through songs, rhymes and pics. They follow The “Baby Beetles” and “Tom and Keri” series by Claire Selby , which are designed to help preschool children learn English through animated stories .

We spent the afternoon taking part on a workshop on the use of ICT during the implementation of eTwinning projects. Our speaker was Ms. Edyta Bieniek, who has been successfully implementing projects for many years and participates in trainings regarding the eTwinning program and information and communication technologies.

During the workshops, she presented us with tools for conducting surveys, making interesting presentations and photo editing. (Mentimeter, MySimpleShow,SlideTalk, Festisite and Funy Pho.to)
