Iyana has been taking the news writing course at the summer workshop.She is a senior at Princeton HS and is 17 years old.This is what she said about the course:"I feel that it gives me insight about new and various ways to write stories for my own highschool newspaper"Iyana said.
In Wylie Hall, Iyana had to listen to a lecture and use the quotes from it to complete her assignment.She enjoyed the presentation given by Jacob Wilson."He gave us insight on what its really like to be in a program like study abroad"senior Iyana said.
The news wrting class was given an assignment , their assignment was to create an informational piece describing what the IU program study abroad is.They had to create their own angle , her angle was average college versus how it would differ from being in a program that allows students to travel the country and have new experiences.
