Jennifer's Travels: Arizona Hotel Valley Ho · Mountain Shadows · SANCTUARY CAMELBACK MOUNTAIN RESORT & SPA

Happy 2017! Here is to another great year of partnering together! In December, I was lucky enough to experience three of our properties in beautiful Arizona and below are a glimpse of each!

Scottsdale, Arizona

Team Preferred & Team Valley Ho! Thank you for the wonderful welcome reception on your rooftop!

First, let’s talk about was the Hotel Valley Ho where we had our annual sales meeting. This is great option if you want to be downtown Scottsdale and your money will go far for the value you will receive. This property is a solid AAA Four Diamond rated hotel that can accommodate small meetings up to events for 500 people. They have 241 guestrooms, all with a patio or balcony, and a total of 33,000 sq. ft of outdoor and indoor meeting space. Most of the space has natural light and the highlight was our welcome reception on top of the Sky Line Rooftop. The service, food and beverage, and amenities were a standout for our group.

Mountain Shadows – Opening April 2017

Next, we visited the grounds of the new Mountain Shadows Resort which is located in Paradise Valley. This new build hotel will open early this year and is certainly the talk to the town. It will feature timeless modern design, 183 guestrooms, a restaurant with exhibition kitchen, two pools, high-tech fitness facility, a fully revamped short golf course as well as 37,5000 sq. ft. of indoor and outdoor event space. This hotel first opened in 1959 but was demolished in 2014. The new owners are rebuilding the luxury resort from the ground up and I couldn’t be happier.

Team bonding with my little unit! Christie Weller & our Shelby at Sanctuary Camelback Mountain Resort.

And last but not least, I visited the gorgeous Sanctuary Camelback Mountain Resort & Spa. The hotel has a great reputation as being one of the top resorts in Paradise Valley (right next door to Scottsdale). They have now completed a $12 million renovation of all guestrooms, spa suites and casitas and it looks amazing! This is a 105-room luxury property and is consistently ranked high in the Conde Nast World’s best awards as well as numerous other prestige awards. They have many unique venues including the Praying Monk indoor/outdoor space overlooking the beauty of Camelback Mountain, Element Dining Deck that overlooks the infinity pool area, a private space inside the Elements restaurant and the Jade Bar.
