What's On?

Birds of Prey

Enjoy an awe-inspiring display of 12 birds of prey from around the world, including a selection of hawks, eagles, owls and falcons that guarantee a varied and thrilling spectacle. Other activities in this zone will include dissections of real owl pellets to understand the feeding habits of these beautiful creatures.

Formula 1 Zone

Get up close to some real-life Formula 1 equipment on the patio outside. For some high-octane indoor fun, head to the Scalextric track where you can line up on the grid, grand prix style, and race to be crowned champion.

Medics of the Future

Learn all about the amazing human body and the effects of physical exercise on your health. Have a go at the Batak machine, used in the world of sport as a training tool to improve reaction times, hand-eye coordination and stamina - luckily it has the handy side effect of being tremendous fun too!

Microsoft Soundscape

Use state-of-the-art 3D audio technology to navigate your way around the school grounds in a treasure hunt-style activity. Microsoft Soundscape is an innovative technology that enables people, particularly those with blindness or low vision, to build a richer awareness of their surroundings, thus becoming more confident and empowered to get around.

Virtual Reality

Use VR headsets to immerse yourself in three different worlds of the International Space Station, Dinosaur Prophecy and Journey to Infinity.

Planetarium

Have an out-of-this-world experience in our domed theatre and catch one of the amazing shows available throughout the afternoon. We'll have live astronomer shows, a 'We are Aliens' film show (narrated by Rupert Grint) and a 'Dinosaurs at Dusk' film show.

Crime Scene Investigation

Something has happened in the Lodge and the lead detectives need your help to solve the collection of clues left behind! Use your keen detective skills to collect and examine fingerprints, shoe prints and other pieces of vital evidence before heading to our crime lab where you’ll get the opportunity to put the clues together in order to catch the culprit!

Robotics

Have a go at building and programming a variety of robots. Can you make your humanoid perform a karate chop? Or maybe even the floss?
