Aggie Dining purchases locally whenever possible for the freshest ingredients in our recipes. We source sustainable seafood, eggs from cage-free chickens, ethically and responsibly sourced coffee, and fresh milk from local dairy farms.
Currently we source 8% of our produce and fresh ingredients locally and have a goal to hit 10% by 2022. This is all a part of our commitment to support our community and feature local farmers whenever possible.
Each year, Aggie Dining partners with local vendor, Freshpoint, to host a Fresh Market in Williams Dining Hall. This market is an opportunity for students and staff to speak with a farming expert to answer any questions they may have in regards to local sourcing.
