Scott Adams was born in New York, on June 8, 1957. He is an American cartoonist and now is 58 years old.

Scott Adams is an avid fan of Babylon 5, a sci-fi TV series type. He even appeared in Season 4 of the series, in the episode "Moments of Transition" in the role of a character named Mr. Adams, who hires former security chief Michael Garibaldi to find his lost dog. Scott is a member of the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences.

It is famous for being the creator of the Dilbert comic strip, and writer of several books on philosophy and satirical skits.Adams received a good recognition for his work, including the National Cartoonist Society Reuben Award and Newspaper Comic Strip Award in 1997 for his work on Dilbert.

He has worked with telecommunications engineers at Crocker National Bank of San Francisco between 1979 and 1986, and Pacific Bell between 1986 and June 1995. It is based on the personalities of colleagues to develop the characteristics of the strips of Dilbert characters . He currently works for The Courier-Journal in Louisville, KY. Many of its interests in the food business are derived from the fact that Adams is vegetarian.
