My Favourite Tale
"The Warlock's Hairy Heart"
The story is about a young and handsome warlock who decides to never fall in love. However, one day, he hears two servants whispering about him not having a wife, so he decides to find a talented, rich, and beautiful woman and marry her to gain everyone's jealousy.
He meets a witch the next day and she tells him that she needs to know he has a heart. The warlock shows her his beating hairy heart inside a crystal casket in his dungeon. The witch begs him to put it back inside himself. The warlock does so. However, his heart has developed savage tastes as it has changed into an animalistic state since the heart has been parted from its body for so long.
My Favourite Quote
"No man or woman alive, magical or not, has ever escaped some form of injury, whether physical, mental, or emotional."
To hurt is as human as to breathe."
— J.K. Rowling, The Tales of Beedle the Bard
I love these two meaningful quotes because they both tell us that life is not as easy as we think. We have to be in different emotions and stages of our lives. These quotes can also encourage people who are having difficulties in their lives to understand that we all may have been hurt sometimes no matter who we are.
I think this is a great and cute addition to the Harry Potter series. I highly admire J.K. Rowling that she can create such amazing and unique fairy tales from the wizarding worlds. I especially love the tales about the hairy heart and the three brothers. If you love fairy tales and Harry Potter, I'm pretty sure you're going to love these tales as well!
