Clemson Parks Tourism recreation Management

PTRM is a department housed in the College of Behavioral, Social, and Health Sciences.

The mission of the Clemson University Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management is to improve quality of life and health through the study of human behaviors and settings as they relate to the provision and management of leisure experiences, services and therapeutic interventions in the public, private and nonprofit sectors.

The department offers a B.S. with concentrations in Community Recreation, Sport and Camp Management, Leisure Skills, PGA Golf Management, Youth Development Studies, Park and Conservation Area Management, Recreational Therapy, Travel and Tourism.

Additionally, PTRM offers a Master of Science and a Doctor of Philosophy degree. Online education is an important offering in the department. Online PTRM masters and PhDs may be earned, as well as masters degrees in both Public Administration and Youth Development. Online MS and Phd can also be earned in Recreational Therapy.
