Oregon trail

The Oregon Trail went through six different states. It took around six months to travel from Missouri to Oregon which was about 2,000 miles.

John Tyler was the 10th president during this time.

The journey was very dangerous because of all the rocks. This made the wagons tip over and crush people to death.

People also drowned to death in the rapid currents.

During the travel, Native American Indians attacked the pioneers and their families.
