Explore Our Cultural Landscape

Nature and men have conspired to create the New Zealand we live in.

Wairau River Mouth
Plate tectonics, historic events, engineers, architects and artists, have all contributed to the places we consider special.

Wherever we are there are locations in the vicinity which have special meaning for us.

The objective of our new website NZPlaces.nz is to enlighten us and help us find these places.

Places where we can explore, recreate, sight see or relax.

Among the objectives of NZPlaces.nz is to show where to find the works of engineers, architects and sculptors and for artists, to list the galleries and museums which have collected their works.
