2017-18 YEAR IN REVIEW: CHRIS TROUBA GRIT AND TENACITY HELP TROUBA IN SOPHOMORE SEASON

Not many players in the NAHL have the family hockey lineage that Tomahawks defenseman Chris Trouba. The brother of Winnipeg Jets blueliner, Jacob Trouba, arrived in Johnstown as a tendered prospect back in 2016-17 and has been a mainstay on the Tomahawks defense ever since.

This season, Trouba brought the same grit and tenacity to his second season in Johnstown. As an assistant captain, he also brought leadership to the Tomahawks.

TROUBA BY THE NUMBERS

Trouba suited up for 51 games and notched 10 assists. He also racked up 113 minutes in the sin bin.
