My personal smart goal is to make and follow a new healthy eating plan
“You only have one body – so look after it! By setting yourself effective health goals, you’ll maximize your life span and enjoy your life more too!”(7).
I plan to make a new healier eating plan to help my energy in the morning and to help create a more positive attitude. My healthy eating plan will be during the whole week for as long as I would like to keep eating healthy. I will need to make a grocery list for my mom to help pay for food and I will need to pack my lunch before I go to bed so I don't feel rushed in the morning. On the weekends I can repeat meals or create new ones.
“One of the first things you want to do is frame your life. Think through a simple list of life priorities, which might include things like family, friends, faith, health, education, profession, wealth and social impact. Make sure to consider all of these areas as you think about and plan for the future, so you can set goals that will provide the greatest benefit to them" (12).
I will make sure that this healthy eating style won't interfere with my normal family dinners by cooking along side my mom to have some conversation and eating my own food at the dinner table with the rest of my family. If we decide to go out to eat, I will make sure to find something healthy on the menu if we go out more than one time a week. If we go out to eat once a week, I am allowing myself to enjoy a meal of my choice.
“More importantly, we want to do what we love by focusing on things that mean a lot to us with people we want to be around" (12).
It is important to keep in mind that this is for your own happiness. I have always felt that I needed to be more healthy because I'm constantly feeling sick and am tired in the morning. I looked up some information on how to gain back energy for the day and found that drinking water and eating healthy are the most important to help feel good and energized.
