Black & White Part I

These are just a few images from my back catalogue showcasing the kind of work I do. I adore Black & White Photography, it's my favourite medium and it always seem to convey emotional subjects better than colour. I love simple, classic poses but at the same time I have a passion for quirky features, angles and textures.

The first photograph is of Holly Moriarty who in her spare time was a model, a super model in every sense of the word and a beautiful soul. I was on a Photo Shoot when I saw that shot. I thought the metal fly curtain hanging from a door at a Coppull Mill would make some ace jewellery around Hollys neck, haha. To date, this is still one of my favourite shots. A judge in a competition once said it was a superb editorial shot, I still didn't win though...

I hope you enjoy looking through Part I of my Mono Selection. If you like what you see and think we could collaborate on a Wedding, Portrait or Commercial, then contact me on the details at the bottom of this storyboard.

When you photograph people in colour you photograph their clothes. When you photograph people in black and white, you photograph their soul. Ted Grant

Which of my photographs is my favourite? The one I'm going to take tomorrow. Imogen Cunningham.
