SCORING OFF THE FIELD Lock Haven University Football

LHU FOOTBALL IN THE COMMUNITY

The "Scoring Off the Field" Challenge builds off of our commitment as a football program to give back to our community. During the Spring semester of 2016, the LHU Football team completed 8 projects and logged approximately 300 hours of community service. We will be pushing ourselves, and have a goal of 1000 hours of community service set for 2017

Several LHU football players volunteered their time in a variety of ways at the local AAUW Book Sale in April 2016

The Bald Eagles helped explain the importance of exercising and eating healthy at the YMCA Healthy Kids Day

Student-Athletes spent time helping at the Salvation Army

The Bald Eagles helped unload food items, organize them and much more at the Goodwill/Blanchard Christ of Christ food pantry.
