This is a short video of the Ladue High School Football team and showcasing my favorite photos and videos I took of them. I made it using the editing app Quick, which was a quick and easy process. Some struggles I had while making this video was taking the images. I struggled with the focus when I took the photos and videos because the players were always moving. As they were moving during the game it sometimes became difficult to follow the ball because all the players are surrounding the ball. This was my favorite video I made this year because I got to showcase my photos that I took of the game. The best feedback I got was from my teacher Mr. Goble when he sent my video to a twitter stream.
This video is representing Carlos Puyo for his senior game at Ladue High School. Some struggles we had while filming was keeping the players in frame. As some of them were juggling for their far shot they would often move out of frame and we would have to redo the shot. Overall the outcome was good with great feedback from friends and family as they liked the variety of camera angles.
This is a video showcasing the Ladue Varsity soccer team and their amazing season. There was not much struggle I had when making this video besides the amount of time it took to go threw all the photos and edit them. This video was overall easy to make using the 'Quick' app and having all the editing effects go along with the music already done. I learned from this video that throughout a video you have to make it a story from the beginning, middle, and end. There was good feedback from everyone as they got to see highlight pictures of their favorite player or student.
This is the senior video representing Lincoln Dibler for his senior game at Ladue High School. I had fun recording this, as I was the floor director for shooting it. Some struggles we had while filming was the players sometimes did not know what to do in front of the camera, or wanting to retake it. This was a learning experience for me because I reliezed that as floor director it's my job to make sure everyone knows what they're doing and make them feel comfortable as this might be there first time in front of the camera. We had good feedback from this as the crowd found the camera shots different and exciting.
This is a short clip representing Alex Smith at his senior game at Ladue High School. Some struggles I had while editing was making sure the font size was accurate throwout all the senior videos and correlating them together to were there is an equal amount of players on each side. I learned alot from editing this as I got to see all the posibilities with effects and really got to see how editing these videos work. Overall the outcome was good with great feedback from friends and family as they liked the variety of camera angles and the overall video.
