I'm standing, waiting for the shot. There are girls on both my sides. Pow! We take off. Some girls are running as fast as a horse. Others are saving their energy. We're halfway through the course, and I'm in the lead. A girl passes me, but she trips. Her scream was like a icicle stabbing you. I picked her up and carried her to the finish line. I let her walk through the finish line, hoping she was okay. Her coach gets her and thanks me. Her ankle was bigger than a watermelon. I received the MVP trophy, the most valuable trophy I have.
