Main Character - Lori Gotleib
Lori Gotleib is the author as well as the main character of this book She wished for her 11th birthday to be the thinnest person in the world. This led to her being hospitalized, not eating, and being diagnosed with Anorexia Nervosa.
One of the most important events in this book is when Lori decides to try to kill herself by cutting her stomach. When she does this, she tried to think about why she did it. She thought maybe it was because she wanted to cut the fat off of her stomach. After she cut herself she realized that she anted to ear really badly and didn't like the situation she had put herself in.
