Celebration Day next Tuesday
As part of our wellbeing program and policy which comes under the umbrella of Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL), all 9 classes have been demonstrating our core values of Respect, Responsibility and Kindness in the playground and have been recognised for displaying these values. As students have received ‘Tathra tokens’, they have returned to class and added these to a whole class grid. Once each class reached 100 tokens they were able to celebrate through a class reward of their choosing (pyjama party, movie, walk to the beach/park etc). Once all classes had achieved their target we promised to celebrate with the Fun Day. Next Tuesday, 29th November, the school will be celebrating the achievement of the whole school target of 900 Tathra Tokens across K-6.
Students will be divided into 8 mixed year groups and will rotate around 8 different activities including a jumping castle, technology based activity, crazy hair and handball, obstacle course, disco, cookie decorating, yoga and an art activity.
As part of the celebration we will having a sausage sizzle at our lunch break. We will be providing each student with one sausage sandwich each. If this won’t be enough for your child s/he will need to bring more lunch. Other food including recess and fruit will still also need to be provided.
Well done Tathra Public school on your great achievement!
