Reinforced Concrete

What is it?

A reinforced concrete is made up of two materials; concrete and steel bars. The concrete is made up of sand, crushed stone, and cement with a mix of water. Then the concrete is molded and mixed with steel rods to make buildings.

What's it for?

This type of concrete is used very often to construct buildings that will undergo heavy weather and strong earth quakes. This is usually due the the area that that these structures are built

How does it work?

The concrete hardens around the bars to makeĀ reinforced concrete.
