Tori & Pete's South Pacific Honeymoon options custom designed for you by Karen Baker of Blissful Honeymoons

I'm so happy to share with you the honeymoon options I've customized for the two of you. I've tried to take into account your wishes:

  • A relaxing and luxurious two-week trip to Bora Bora
  • An overwater bungalow
  • A nice big tub would be a bonus

You'll depart Baltimore the evening of June 25th. After a layover in Los Angeles, you'll arrive in Tahiti in the dawning hours of Monday the 26th. You'll be greeted after exiting customs and escorted to your short domestic flight to Bora Bora.

Option 1

Intercontinental Bora Bora Resort & Thalasso Spa

This Bora Bora resort is set on Motu Piti A‘au, with a stunning view of Mount Otemanu, and features a thalasso therapy spa and a coral garden. You'll arrive to the remote island location by boat and immediately see the unique overwater accommodations, seemingly floating on the pristine waters. Each villa has its own remarkable view out to the clear waters of the lagoon, along with sundecks, direct access to the lagoon and an uninhibited view of the marine life below.

The Sapphire Overwater Villa offers a remarkable view over the lagoon and the island of Bora Bora. This is a very spacious villa measuring approximately 700 square feet with an additional 300 square foot terrace.

You'll enjoy a separate living room with glass bottom coffee table that illuminates at night, a separate bedroom with a walk-in dressing room, a large and bright bathroom opened on the lagoon and a large shaded terrace equipped with sun beds, dining table and a spacious bathing deck.

You'll love the private sun deck with exterior fresh water shower and the large bathroom with separate shower and double sink.

Activities

Windsurfing, outrigger canoeing, kayaking, and snorkeling are free; equipment is available at the activity desk. The staff can also arrange scuba diving, sunset cruises, tours in a glass-bottom boat, visits to scenic island locations, horseback riding, shark feeding, and a variety of other adventures.

dining

  • Sands Beach Lounge - On the white sand beach, with seating that includes plush shaded loungers. Enjoy a refreshing drink any time of the day. Happy Hour is from 5:00 to 6:00 pm.

Option 2

conrad bora bora

You'll arrive at Conrad Hilton Bora Bora Nui Resort & Spa by boat, since it is located on a rocky motu (lagoon island). Greeted by ukulele players, you'll disembark at an overwater reception area set over a natural aquarium where shoals of trumpet fish swim. Across the water over a walkway, and just behind the beach, the resort's restaurants, bars, and lounges sit in Polynesian-style buildings surrounded by tropical gardens. Bungalows nestle on the hillside or overwater along an 800-metre white-sand beach. At night, spotlights on the hillside trees, through the gardens, and in the lagoon itself provide a romantic ambiance.

Soak in stunning views of the island and lagoon from the private waterside balcony of this overwater villa. Relax on the outdoor catamaran nets.

These elegant over water villas feature high ceilings, exotic polynesian inspired decor, Indonesian mahogany furnishings, king canopy beds, sitting area with glass floor-viewing panels, internet access, DVD/CD players and Italian marble bathroom and private balcony.

Your villa also includes:

  • Arm chair with ottoman, chaise lounge and dining table
  • Separate bathtub and shower with waterpik shower head
  • High-speed internet and 32-inch LCD HDTV with French and English channels
  • AND and in-room espresso machine!

activities

Full-service spa and beauty salon, fully equipped fitness center, and onsite shopping. Most activities on Bora Bora are based on organized excursions that can be booked through the resort. These include trips on the lagoon by submarine or glass-bottom boat; excursions to swim with sharks and sting rays; scuba diving and snorkeling; and sunset cruises, all designed to showcase the magnificent lagoon. Fishing, parasailing, water skiing, and sailing are other lagoon-based options. Jeep and quad safaris, horse riding, and four-wheel driving excursions penetrate the island's mountainous interior. It is also possible to rent bicycle or scooters in Vaitape, the island's main town.

dining

  • Iriatai French Brasserie - Enjoy exceptional cuisine in a stylish setting at our signature restaurant. You’ll take in breathtaking views of the lagoon from the comfortable banquet and veranda seating of the open-air restaurant – the perfect place to enjoy the restaurant’s innovative take on a classic French brasserie.

  • Tamure Beach Grill - This casual beachside restaurant is located between the pool and beach. Sample authentic Mediterranean and Polynesian cuisine prepared in the open-air exhibition kitchen featuring a stone pizza oven. At night, take in an al-fresco movie screening or the weekly traditional Polynesian night show featuring fire-throwers and local dance ensembles sharing the island’s legends and history.
  • Upa Upa Lounge Bar - The stylish Upa Upa Lounge boasts a glass floor deck and provides the perfect vantage point for discovering the lagoon’s coral reefs and fish or taking in the sweeping views of the surrounding turquoise waters.

  • Tarava Pool Bar - Boasting a swim-up bar and dry counter, this full-service venue at the resort’s infinity pool serves refreshing cocktails and chilled beverages. Tarava Pool Bar is open in the daytime.

You'll depart Bora Bora on the evening of July 6th. After a layover in Papeete, you'll arrive in Los Angeles mid morning the next day. You'll arrive in Baltimore late in the evening on July 7th.
