Ask A Problem

We need to make a mobile library cart out of old recycled parts

We knew we were going to need wheels so we found affordable casters.

Brainstorm a solution

The first idea we had (left) was a book case that opened at a hinge. We decided not to use that idea because the idea would be too complicated to put together.

The second idea was 2 book cases back to back with a white board on top. this is the idea we decided to keep and use because it would be easier to complete

This was a very rough draft of what the final product was going to look like.

We made a makeshift version of the frame with wheels and we also practiced the welding.

The Prototype looked pretty good and looked very doable so we decided to split into groups and work on different sections.

Final Product

Austin and Pasquale worked on the frame
Lopez and Peyton worked on engraving the triangles with the GV Logo
Adam worked on putting the whit board between the frame and drilling it on.

The Final Product looked like the CAD drawing but we did not have time to put it together
