Child Beauty Pageants By Ashley jagt

Child beauty pageants can have a life long effects on young girls. They may grow up feeling physically dissatisfied and overall disappointed.

Child beauty pageants are becoming more and more popular in America and this society. The pageants have a way of making young girls feel and look much older than they really are. Although beauty pageants can be financially beneficial, they are overall physically and emotionally damaging.

The problem with beauty pageants today is parents are becoming obsessed with the benefits to the competition without realizing the psychological effects the competition has on their daughter. Parents invest thousands of dollars every pageant which only puts pressure on their toddler.
