The Best and Worst Movies In the World By Xavier Smith

One of the best movies ever made, in my opinion, is "Sweeney Todd: The Barber of Fleet Street." The movie is a musical about a barber (Benjamin Barker) in London who is wrongly accused of a crime and sent to jail by a judge that wanted his wife. Years later, Barker returned to London and found out that the judge is raising his daughter to become the judge's wife. Barker also learns that the judge caused his wife to poison herself. In response to this, Barker decides to open a brand new barber shop under the alias of Sweeney Todd to get revenge on the judge. Todd becomes a well-known barber and kills all of his patients with the help of Ms. Lovett, a baker. She grinds the bodies and puts them in her popular meat pies and sells them to the townsfolk. I like this movie because it is very unpredictable and I think that the plot twists are amazing. I also felt sorry for Barker as he was wrongly convicted of a crime and came back to see that everything around him has completely changed. I also love the fact that there is no happy ending to this movie. The only problem that I have with this movie is the random times that the characters break into song. Otherwise, this movie is flawless.

I believe that "Paranormal Activity" has to be one of the worst movies ever made. The movie is about a couple that buys a brand new house and soon becomes haunted by a demon. The biggest problem about this movie is that it takes over half of the movie to become slightly interesting. During the first hour of the movie, the couple hears random noises, sees light bulbs flicker on and off, and sees objects move around the house. However, instead of leaving the house, the couple decides to stay and record the weird tings happening around the house. This results in the wife becoming possessed by a demon and murdering her husband. It takes a fair amount of prequels to even understand why there is a demon harassing this couple. This movie is supposed to be a horror film, but it takes a long time for anything "scary" to happen in the movie.
