THERE'S ENERGY IN A ROLLER COASTER??

This video is explaining the significance of energy and how it is in basically everything! Looking at this first video, you learn that work and energy help the roller coaster move. The idea of work and energy make the roller coaster have potential and kinetic energy.

Thermal energy in conduction, convection, and radiation

CONVECTION

This picture shows convection because convection is heat transferring through air. The heat goes through the hot stove and out in the cold air to make a convection current. Thermel energy transferrs through the air to make convection. As the immediate hot air rises, it pushes denser, colder air down.

RADIATION

Radiation is a way of transferring energy by electromagnetic waves. All materials radiate thermal energy based on their temperature. The hotter an object, the more it will radiate. The sun radiates the earth and gives Earth energy.

CONDUCTION

Conduction transfers heat with direct molecular collision. Hot particles will collide with cold particles. The cold particles will increase in kinetic energy as a result.
