FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS PARADE - OPHIR 4H dECEMBER 3, 2016

The 2016 Festival of Lights Parade will be held on Saturday, December 3rd. The parade will begin at the corner of Cherry and Lincoln Way at 5:30pm. This year's theme is "Let it glow...Let it glow...Let it Glow...".

To prepare, OPHIR 4H will be assembling its float this year at the beginning of the Parade Route: We have all the lights and extension cords needed. You do not need to march in the parade to help create the float. Parade participants will be able to create the float or a light or glow costume. Parade participants can ride on the float, carry the banner, or march with an animal.

Time: Noon to 3. Location to be sent later this week. The Auburn Chamber of Commerce will assign our parade number and berth later this week. Prepare to be at the parade by 5 p.m. More information to come.

What we need: **40 to 50 parade participants with parent or adult supervision, to help assemble the float. ** 6 Adult volunteers to help

Parade Time: children must be accompanied by an adult who is responsible for their safety at all times during the parade. All members and parents need to sign in upon arrival at the float and sign out at the end of the parade before departing.
