Opening of School Prayer Service

On Thursday, September 6, the school community gathered to celebrate the Opening of School Prayer Service. Pamela Juan Hayes '64 spokes to those in attendance saying,

"Today we gather to celebrate the beginning of our 170th school year to consider who we are and where we stand. What a great privilege it is for all of us to be part of such an excellent educational environment, where opportunities exist for faith development, learning, leadership, community building and service as hallmarks of the institution."

We look forward to a fantastic 2018-2019 school year.

An Update from Sacred Heart Greenwich

Earlier this year, the Board of Trustees commissioned a Working Group to evaluate our policies around the expression of ideas and opinions within the framework of the Sacred Heart Goals and Criteria. On September 4, we shared with you a summary of the findings and recommendations presented by the Working Group and adopted by the Board. The Working Group conducted more than 200 interviews with people who share a vested interest in Sacred Heart Greenwich, including students, administrators, faculty and staff, alumnae, parents, trustees and the members of the Conference of Sacred Heart Education. We have also taken into consideration best practices found at other institutions, and materials from the Conference of Sacred Heart Education utilized across all network schools.
