My Human Body Systems Encyclopedia

The Human body has 6 Body systems we are going to research and explore the Nervous System.

Your nervous system controls everything you do, including breathing, walking, thinking, and feeling.

You and your assigned partner will each need an iPad to complete this project. Your 3 paged Encyclopedia I have handed out will need to be completed. Use correct grammar, spelling, and word defintions found in the given resources.

These 3 pages shown above is your Encyclopedia for the Nervous System.

RESOURCES:

Your going to use http://kidshealth.org/en/kids/brain.html?ref=search to find all of the necessary information to fill out each page. By clicking on the link above it will take you to the article within the website.

This youtube video https://youtu.be/dah-4mtAnsQ has great informational knowledge about the Nervous System as well. You click on the link and it will take you directly to the correct informational video.

Along with the iPads for resources, I also have two Nervous System posters that can be accessed one on the front board, and the other on the back board.

There is also The Busy Body Book in the reading area.

When this project is complete you should have a general understanding of the Nervous System and how it functions. You should be able to apply concepts learned to everyday functions and understand the Nervous System is what is or isn't helping with the current skill or activity your performing.

This is the rubric on which your grade will be assessed on.
