Inject Creativity into the Curriculum Adobe in education events - Face to Face & Online

Adobe Education runs regular professional learning events for teachers interested in enhancing digital literacy and creativity in their classrooms.

During the current COVID-19 situation, all of these events will be conducted online via Dr Tim Kitchen's BlueJeans Conferencing Room- https://bluejeans.com/61386814234

These events are officially registered with NESA for NSW Teachers and count towards NESA PD hours.

See the list of date below ...

Each session is free and aims to demonstrate and workshop practical ways to inject creativity in most areas of the Fto12 and higher education curriculum.

Have a look at this video featuring interviews with teachers who attended a face to face Inject Creativity event in Sydney in 2019.

Some of the following Adobe software will be focused on during the sessions with a mixture of quick demonstrations and more in-depth work-shopping.

  • Photoshop (image manipulation for all subject areas)
  • Premiere Rush (Adobe's new multi-platform video editing app)
  • Adobe Aero (creating Augmented Reality video experiences)
  • Character Animator (real-time animation for video)
  • Spark Post (digital posters in seconds)
  • Spark Video (make simple video stories for any curriculum area)
  • Spark Page (build & publish webpages or digital portfolios for assessment, presentation & demonstration)
  • Premiere Pro (taking video to the next level, including working with VR)
  • Adobe XD (design & prototype apps)
  • InDesign (desktop publishing like a professional)
  • The new Adobe Fresco app (the perfect drawing tool for the iPad)

Segments of the online sessions are recorded and available on-demand. See the links at the end of this site.

Dates & venues

In light of the ever-changing COVID-19 situation, Adobe have enforced a total travel ban that extends at this stage until Easter, 2020. This means that our planned Inject Creativity events for this period outside of Victoria will not go ahead and we will look to re-schedule where possible.
