We will celebrate and honor you for your efforts in academics and involvement with the Georgia State community and the metro-Atlanta community.
Exam week is coming! Take refuge in a Multicultural Center study space and our library!
Join us for a celebration of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month 2017 with the theme of food and cooking! There will be a documentary showing, student organization tabling, and more!
Join us this Thursday 4/13 at 2pm for a Basic Safe Zone Training for Students! Faculty/Staff trainings are also available.


A weekly opportunity for students to come into the center to have conversations around a particular topic or identity. The program is designed to foster community building and support for Georgia State University students.
Pop in for pop tarts, pop, and pop culture! Pop Talks are informal weekly discussions (every Wednesday during the semester) about pop culture, national news, global events, hot button issues, social needs and/or anything related to multiculturalism, inclusion, diversity, and/or justice. Students should bring their own lunch, something they want to discuss, and a willingness to think about our world. The Multicultural Center will provide a facilitator, pop (sodas), and pop tarts!
How can a graphic novel help us think about our world? What can graphic novels tell us about ourselves? Can graphic novels help us imagine new possibilities for our world? Join us on Thursdays in April for a discussion of multiculturalism, diversity and social justice in G. Willow Wilson’s graphic novel, Ms. Marvel. Scott McCloud’s Understanding Comics: An Invisible Art will also be used as an aide throughout the series. All are welcome (regardless if you have read the comic already), but pre-reading is encouraged.
