A Sweet, Juicy, and Fun 4th! Fpaa shares fruits at community event by paula beemer

The memories we create in the life of our children are an important legacy, it is our responsibility to make them right!

The celebration of traditions is a perfect opportunity to create memories and what better way than connecting them with a bite of juicy watermelon and sweet, colorful grapes? This is a momento that will linger in the growing minds of children; happy thoughts and good times associated with the consumption of healthy snacks!

For around half a decade FPAA member, Brian Vandervoet has been offering watermelons at the Tubac Presidio State Historic Park’s Old Fashion 4th of July Celebration, this year we decided to support his good initiative and efforts as FPAA and offered grapes as well. These grapes were donated by John Pandol from Pandol Brothers.

FPAA staff member, Paula Beemer along with Vandervoet, sliced, cut, and offered the fruit to the very grateful crowd. There was even a watermelon-eating contest that for sure made the children giggle.
