Who is Davy Fresh?

Davy Fresh is a Washington, DC based hip hop recording artist who managed to generate over 3 Million streams independently with the release of a string of mixtapes and albums. He got his start in music from mixtapes and blog recognition in the late 2000's. He dropped his first album Cloud 420 in 2013 under his independent imprint, Fresh Kids Music Group. Outside of music Davy has managed to create a strong internet buzz with collaborations with Youtube creators like Cartoon Connect and the popular cartoon The Johnsons. His 2017 LP, “Every Dark Night...”, was received with positive feedback and managed to be Davy Fresh's most streamed and sold project at the time with notable blog features. His most recent and successful LP, 2018’s double disc release “...Smile”, has brought Davy’s career to new heights.

Noteworthy Performances

Davy Fresh and his band was invited to perform on Washington, DC’s radio station WPFW 89.3 FM for their Live @ 5 concert series. Davy Fresh was the first rapper to be given the Friday spotlight outside of their Hip Hop Wednesday segment.
Davy Fresh was invited to perform on One Love Massive’s Factory Floor Sessions with his band. Davy had a raffle sponsored by Bucketfeet giving away a pair of his signature “High” sneakers where over 400 people entered in the raffle alone. (Watch the performance below.)

In June of 2018, For the one year anniversary of his album, Every Dark Night..., Davy released the live album packaged with a live performance from the vault.

The Johnsons cartoon

Davy Fresh is a voice actor on the very popular and viral cartoon series titled, “The Johnsons” by Cartoon Connect who also produces the mega hit cartoon series, “Lil Ron Ron”. The Johnson’s parts 1 and 2 have brought in over 6 million YouTube views. Part 3 is slated for 2019.

Still Diggin: mini doc

Davy Fresh was invited to record at the legendary DITC studios in New York to work on music. He shot a mini doc with LaMelle Robinson of the recording process.


Davy Fresh started a independent recording and artist development company named, Fresh Kids Music Group or FKMG for short. The label has not only been behind Davy Fresh’s success, but also is home to singer/songwriter, MioTiga and rapper/producer, The Product. In early 2018 they released a group project titled Fresh Kids vol. 1.

Davy Fresh executive produced MioTiga’s 2016 and 2018 releases “The MioTiga Mixtape” and “3AM” which together generated over 100,000 retail streams for the R&B singer with stand out songs like “City Lights”, “Don’t Do It”, “Here For”, “Yellow”, and her most successful solo single, “Is It Enough”. She managed to grabbed a genius.com lyrics feature, playlisting on Spotify, and several blog features.

The Product got his start with production and being featured on the first single from Davy Fresh’s 2017 album, “Every Dark Night”. He produced the majority of the project and Davy Fresh’s follow up 2018 LP, “...Smile”. “The Product” also produced the joint project with him and Wes Felton (of the Crossrhodes with Raheem DeVaughn) titled Kings of the Wilderness. He released his debut project, “D.R.U.G.S” both projects executive produced by Davy Fresh. His debut album saw success with the singles, “D.R.U.G.S PT.2” and “96 Galant”.
