Thank you to all of my 2016 Clients
This job wouldn't be as much fun if you weren't in it.
I'd also like to the thank the many families that participated and supported an auction last year. In 2016 I had the privilege of providing an item to North Beach Elementary, Bishop Blanchet High School and The University Food Bank. These are the families I got to meet and photograph. Supporting the programs in our community is important so thank you for reaching out to your community and getting involved.
Moving into a new year is not always easy with my business. With the high of the holidays and getting family pictures done for so many people it can quickly drop off and become very quiet. I try not to get too caught up in how slow business can get, instead I start to work on some new and fun ideas/projects for the upcoming year. Here are just a few things I'm working on.
Food & Fine Art Photography
I took a Food Photography workshop this year and it made me truly see how much I really want to get more involved in this area of photography. If you know of anyone that is an expert in this field, I'd love to chat with them.
Then there's that idea of photographing what's in front of you. It could be a beautiful landscape or just the tire of an old car. Opening your eyes to the light you're presented with and shapes around you will allow your art to truly explode. The next time you're just sitting on a park bench or your toilet for that matter, look at that space and try to find something different, unique and beautiful.
My goal is to show more of my work. It's tough giving your work to a larger audience to critique but I believe that it will make me a better artist. My goal is to do a show in Jamaica (that's all I can share on that right now) and I'd also like to show my work in two small retail spaces in Seattle. As soon as my work is up, I will let you all know the details -promise!

Let's get you on the Calendar for 2017
Contact me before April 30th, get your family on the calendar and you will get 20% off your session fee. If you refer a new family this year you will also get an 8x8 image of your choice in a beautiful handmade frame from Onkie Bazoobie.
Cards for Every Occasion
You can purchase a single card or a set of 5 cards. They can be all the same or you can mix them. These cards are currently a 5x5 but I think I'm going to be changing the dimensions. They will still be square, I'm thinking they might be a little smaller. You can email me directly if you're interested in getting a set - these are great teacher gifts too.
