LAST WEEK: Men's basketball suffered two Ohio Athletic Conference losses this past week. The John Carroll Blue Streaks defeated the Purple Raiders in a close game, 82-78, as Wilmington defeated Mount Union 103-90 on Saturday. The Raiders are now 11-8 overall and 6-6 in the OAC.

LAST WEEK: Women's basketball lost both Ohio Athletic Conference games last week. The Raiders played the John Carroll Blue Streaks on Wednesday, losing in overtime, 81-75, and suffered a loss to Wilmington, 56-35, on Saturday afternoon.

Saturday, Feb. 4: Track and Field hosts the Jim Wuske in Peterson Fieldhouse on campus.

LAST WEEK: Freshman Daijana Johnson won the long jump to headline the performances of the Mount Union women's indoor track and field team at the Spire Invitational Saturday at Spire Institute in Geneva, Ohio. Johnson won the long jump with a mark of 17-feet, 2.75-inches. Also in the event, junior Dana Crofoot placed third at 17-2 as some of the top finishers. Croofoot was also part of a 4x400 relay team with freshmen Sarah Mason and Aamirah Howard with senior Marisa Rinaldi that posted its best time of the season at 4:02.13 to place fourth.

Saturday, Feb. 4: Track and Field hosts the Jim Wuske in Peterson Fieldhouse on campus.

The No. 21 ranked Mount Union men's indoor track and field team broke three school records Saturday at the Spire Invitational at Spire Institute in Geneva. Junior Tyler Neff set a new school record and placed second in the 400 meters at 48.08 while Sophomore Connor Troyer set a new school record and placed third in the 60 meter hurdles at 8.13. Both of the times are provisional qualifying times for the NCAA Division III Indoor Championships. A third record was broken in the 600 meters by senior Raphael Tshikala with a time of 1:23.28.
