DIVERGENCE, AND IT'S AFFECTS ON THE FACTIONS
Divergence:
- People who experienced Divergent qualities or the ability to manipulate simulations were often faced with extreme seclusion and discrimination. You often don't know who among you is different because of how quiet the individual is.
- Our country faced extreme racial discrimination during the 1950's. The movement was called the Civil Rights Movement. African Americans would be segregated and put in separate groups for everyday activities. Even if you wanted a drink of water there were two fountains, one for African American's and one for whites. How Chicago has gone awry in the future
- The city of Chicago, IL was turned into a utopia after a war that divided mankind. A group eventually built walls around the city and caged everybody inside but convinced the people the outside was dangerous after a genetic mishap.
- The people of Chicago were put into five factions to work different jobs for the prosperity of the city.
- Unfortunately, some countries have adopted a dictatorship system where you don't have many rights. While many say communism, facism, and other forms of corrupt governments are the cause of people not having many rights, it all depends on who runs the government. Examples are Russia and North Korea. They limit information to people and also don't let people leave unless they're on diplomatic reason.
