Environments of Successful Peace

My vision of peace and your vision of peace will never be the same. However, the pathways to getting there are more than parallel.

I smelled popcorn on the train. I’m already thinking 'what can I eat from the cafe cart that’s not going to give me a headache, make my tummy hurt, or in some other ways kill me'…I said freak it. Tired of overthinking it. I got up and while standing in line, quickly realized how I had just got off the phone with a client who asked me what do I suggest to eat when I’m not close to home, running errands while trying to eat healthy.

I’m standing there thinking, now am I gonna be a hypocrite, or stick to my guns? I honestly got up (for the second time) to get some popcorn or chips, which was a mistake within itself.

Then I realized I HAVE to stand behind not only my word, but all that I hope to inspire.

Needless to say, I suddenly see a veggie snack pack that had chipotle dip. Yep. That’s what I chose.

Now, it’s not to say that the dip was all that healthy, but when it comes to skinny pop popcorn or cheddar cheese Chex mix versus the veggies, for me it’s a no brainer.

Point being, the temptation is there, even for us who claim to always eat and perform at our best. #facts
