It's now 1:51 am on Friday the first of December 2017 here in Northern Ireland. In the morning I am meant to be seeing my employment advisor, but it has been one of those evenings where I overstretched myself and overdid the caffeine. :|
Symbolising the roadworks on the new A6 bypass.
These paintings were done by myself and I need to get back to painting.
Link to my paintings.
What I am doing today - 01 December 2017 - is talk to my employment advisor at a café in Magherafelt. I got no sleep last night. All tea-d out. :S
Last night I joined a writers' den for freelance gigs. Looks like I'll have to deal with corporate bigwigs. Bloke's gotta eat. ;)
My attempt at a poster for a night out in Manchester - forgive any ignorance regarding drink prices.
Me at a Christmas Dinner in Crumlin Road Gaol.
Secrets to success
The only real secrets are the ability to get out there and reach out, as well as not get bogged down by 'The Man'.
Joined another Friday morning Meetup for painting at Dun Laoghaire Library on 15 December. Hopefully I'll paint something worth painting.
My support for an Ulster Nation to solve the Irish question. (Re. Brexit)
What to paint next Friday? (15 December) Hopefully I'll keep musing until then.
Snowing this weekend here.
That name again, it's Mr Plow!
Bad news - the WiFi and 4G signals are dropping off and on. Good news - the snow is thawing.
2017 was an eventful year. Getting to Glasgow to see the above gig in September was one of the hi-lights.
When Santa runs out of Prozac
Heading to a Linux Meetup soon. Negotiating the winter roads and unsalted car parks were purgatory.
My local Weather
The Enterprise from Portadown to Dublin
Thank God the ice went away on Thursday - just in time to head to Dun Laoghaire for a painting session.
My heart affected by Red Bull
From a house at the Ulster American Folk Park - old hats for Musicians 200 years ago
Merry Christmas - from Nineteenth Century Pennsylvania. :)
