Graduation Class of 2017

On June 23, 717 members of the Class of 2017 graduated from Shenendehowa Central School District

HS A Capella starts the ceremony off with the National Anthem.

Speeches from Principal Don Flynt, the class officers and Valedictorian/Salutatorian
Students with an GPA of 95 or above are asked to stand and be recognized.
Superintendent Dr. L. Oliver Robinson

Dr. Robinson tells the graduates "You are all special in your unique ways, possessing beautiful minds. Focus on and do things that are true, honorable, pure, and commendable. Be civil and respectful. Be understanding and appreciative of differences, for it is our differences that make life an interesting and vibrant experience. Strive for excellence in all your endeavors, knowing that some of the greatest lessons that you will learn will be from failure.

Then Dr. Robinson certifies for the Board of Education and NYS Department of Education that the graduates have met all of the requirements for graduation.
