Hi! I'm Katie Cotton! And I am absolutely obsessed with making women feel great about themselves! I started first in the makeup industry working in LA in production and then transitioned to "real people" clients in South Carolina. I found my true passion in life is treating these every day regular gals like they are the superstars. I added photography into my business in 2010 and truly haven't looked back. The opportunity to make someone feel like they look like the best (if not a little glammed up!) version of themselves and then help them to capture that beauty and power and yes, a little sexuality is something that I truly feel like I was born to do!
Here's a little known fact that may surprise you: provocative photography featuring women in their boudoirs has been a thing for nearly 100 years. Yep -- before quick film developing, before digital cameras, before women could vote and, get this: before it was even legal! I'll spare you all the historical details and just tell you that women have been posing for the camera in their sexiest lingerie (sometimes sans clothing at all!) since the early 20th century. And, as you've seen in art class, many have posed for the paint brush and painter even earlier than that, as well.
The reasons to do a boudoir shoot are practically endless and we've worked with women in all stages of life. We've done shoots for women celebrating their new figures, brides to be, women who want to give a special birthday or christmas gift to their partners, and women who simply feel beautiful and sexy and want to relish in that. We’ve also done shoots for those celebrating a successful conquor of cancer or as a reminder that they’ve still got it after a split from their significant other. Others are celebrating a little one growing in their belly and they want to opt for a not so traditional maternity shoot! Whatever you’re reason, we strive to make you feel amazing with yourself!

Because this is our speciality, we know all the ins and outs of boudoir. We have an in house makeup and hair studio and team. We have a fully outfitted studio keeping everything in 1 place while still giving you multiple sets and styles to choose from. We have perfected the art of editing for you to look your best, but still look like you. This is our passion. We absolutely love to make you look and feel like a supermodel for a day.
The Studio
Our boudoir studio is a gorgeous 100 year old renovated home in the heart of the Pettigru Historic District in downtown Greenville, SC! We love our more intimate studio space while still having 3000 square feet of awesome sets and glorious natural light!
We have 2 full-time bedroom sets (all white for a bright and airy feel and a darker set which can be shot for a bright look or one thats dark and moody with more than half a dozen different bedding options that can completely change the look and feel. We have an additional 2 bedroom sets that can be set up on request and another large room that changes in look and feel depending on the furniture used. The house also have a few other gems available for shooting if we choose!
We love working with clients from all walks of life! Whether you are doing this for you or a significant other. No matter the color of your skin or your pronouns. Curves or a little more narrow, youthful or just full of life. Whether you want something casual or done up, light and airy or dark and moody. We want to empower you to let your personality shine!
Makeup and Hair styling is a complimentary service with your session. We have a full makeup and hair studio set up inside our boudoir home, so we’ll be sure to have everything we need to get you looking -- and feeling -- absolutely gorgeous!
For your makeup, it’s all about emphasizing all your gorgeous features without overdoing it. Based on your personal preferences we'll work with you to create your best look! False lashes are greatly recommended to really help your peepers stand out and of course are also included. We have oodles of styles in the studio and we’ll make sure you have the best ones for your eye shape.
Now if you want to go a little wild with your makeup? We are ok with that too! We are a studio of makeup artists, after all! Just know that the level of your makeup will be based on what YOU want and what will make YOU feel the most amazing!
For your hair, to us, it’s more about the “well it looked great before we went out... then we came home and had a little bit of fun!” idea! We like to add volume and tousle it up! But we also want you to feel like yourself, so you are welcome to let us know if you’d prefer curls to straight or if you’d rather have a more stylized "do" like an elegant updo or even a more retro pinup look.
Package Pricing
While there are boudoir photographers that cost thousands of dollars (and every photographers' pricing is valid and relates directly to THEIR own business) we try to make sure that everyone can afford a session! We aren't the least expensive on the block (we have invested a lot of money into our business too) but we aren't the most. We have 4 packages to accommodate everyone's needs and have an additional tangible product list for you to purchase from if you wish. You are also always allowed to only receive the edits from your package. But lets start at getting the MOST bang for you buck with our ULTIMATE Experience!
If you are looking for the most luxurious experience for your boudoir session then the Ultimate package may be for you! We love each and every single one of our clients but booking the Ultimate really puts you on the throne so to speak!
2 Hour Session
The world is our oyster for 2 whole hours of shooting. We can shoot on every single set if the time allows! Even better? We can have any of our speciality sets, such as our "in the clouds" set, a "shower" scene or a milk bath. These would normally require an additional fee but would be included in your session should you want them! Just let us know ahead of time so we can be prepped for you!
Complimentary Makeup and Hair with Changes
Of course makeup and hair is always complimentary with our sessions but with this package you can change it up if you'd like. Maybe you want to start with a more minimal woke up like this makeup and progress to a more sultry or vampy look!
Unlimited Outfit Changes
We still recommend no more than 5-6 outfits but if you'd like to create a speciality album like our Cocktail Album or a calendar and want different looks per page, well then we can make that happen!
Same Day Proofing and Selection
After we conclude your shoot we will order some lunch if you'd like and go thru ALL the photos together! This truly is one of the biggest advantages to the Ultimate Experience. There will be upwards of 500 photos to sort thru! Can you imagine having to go thru and make all those decisions on your own? Well now you don't have to! We will help you determine the absolute best ones for your album and even edit a few right on site for your to take home with you! Those edits? Well you'll end up with 75-100 in your final album! This triples the amount of photos in the next package.
Editing Priority
You'll be bumped to the front of the line! Your photos will be next to be edited and your album ordered within 1-2 weeks!

Please note a non-refundable deposit of $100 is required to secure the date and time of your scheduled session. This deposit may be transferred to a new date if given a 1 week notice prior or in other extenuating circumstances left to the discretion of your photographer.
