Because there has been a spike in the numbers of Opioid deaths in our counties just this year alone, we felt that it is vital that we continue to make others aware of this growing crisis.

After dropping significantly in 2018, opioid-related deaths in Lancaster County shot back up in the first half of this year, exceeding the record pace of 2017. As of June 1, 12 people have died in the county, compared with 15 for all of last year, according to Lancaster County Coroner Karla Deese. (Lancaster Newspaper)

Our Youth under the leadership of Mr. Ty’Juan Reyes, VICYC President, will spearhead this meeting. Our presenter is Mr. Stuart Robinson, 1st Sergeant Chesterfield Narcotics Unit will share with us pertinent information to educate us on the Opioid Crisis and what we the church can do.

Pastors, we are asking that EACH church strive to have your youth, Lay and Christian Education officers present. Pastors, we definitely require your input also. Please join us!

Blessings and Peace to each of you!
