#4 - Westminster

A Look Back

The 2019 Westminster squad took the State Championship over Lovett in a tight 9-8 overtime win. Prior to the trophy game, the Wildcats beat the playoff field by two or more goals in route to the championship. At the start of 2020, Wesminster went on the road where they fell to the Walton Raiders (9-7). They refocussed and remained perfect for the remainder of the shortened season finishing 6-1 in 2020. During last season, no opponent was able to score in double digits against the Wildcats defense.

2021 Players to Watch

The Wildcats return a wealth of experience into 2021. Max Fritz and Drew Downes will quarterback the offense from attack. At the face off X, Dylan Farley will be pivotal in the teams success this season to keep the ball after goals. Along with Farley, Steven Crawford maintains his role at the midfield as a dodging threat. Protecting the defensive half, Taji Flynn and Hunter Wanamaker will each be matched up with the best attackmen in the state.

Schedule Highlights

The Wildcats are planning on being fast-paced and using their athletes to compete with high quality opponents throughout the 2021 season. Most notably are Region contests against Lovett and Pace Academy and out of Region games against Greater Atlanta Christian, Blessed Trinity, and Lambert.
