The Seljuks were a Turkish dynasty of Central Asiatic origin that conquered and ruled Persia, Iraq and much of the Near East in the late 11th and early 12th centuries.
The islands (for the most part) consist of low, flat limestone with extensive marshes and mangrove swamps, all ringed by sandy beaches. Middle Caicos and North Caicos are covered in some areas by green woodlands and a network of caves.
Turks presented successful handiwork about stone business since prehistoric period. The oldest samples can be seen in Middle East. Orhon inscriptions can be thought as monumental sculptures. Arts such as relief, carving and damascening come into prominence with Seljuks and Ottoman.
