FIRST STORE

In 1948, IN-N-OUT opened its first stand on the corner of Francisquito Ave. and Garvey Ave. in Baldwin Park, California. It was only a drive thru and was no more than 10 square feet.

NEW MENU ADDITION

In 1958, IN-N-OUT added soft drinks to the menu. Back then, you could get a soft drink for $0.10. Nowadays, you can get a soft drink from IN-N-OUT for $1.50. :o

ANOTHER ADDITION

In 1975, IN-N-OUT decided to add one of their more famous items to their menu; the milkshake. Today, you can get a milkshake for about $2.

FIRST SIT IN RESTAURANT

The first sit in IN-N-OUT was opened in Ontario in 1979. Before then, all IN-N-OUT's were drive thrus. Since then, there have only been 13 IN-N-OUT's that have been built without a dining room.

FIRST REPLICA

In 2014, IN-N-OUT built a replica of the original IN-N-OUT in the same location as the original IN-N-OUT.

300th STORE

In 2015, IN-N-OUT reached a landmark; opening their 300th restaurant. That restaurant is located in Anaheim, California
